Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the most well-known specialty in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Our treatment sessions integrate a variety of applications, such as Herbal Prescription, Traditional Asian Physical Therapy and Thai Yoga Massage with Acupuncture. The World Health Org. of the U.N. has researched and listed a broad spectrum of physical and emotional health issues that respond well to Acupuncture. Our procedures conform closely to standards set by the Board of Registration in Medicine of Massachusetts and The National Committee on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

handAt the Healing Post, we create individually crafted treatment plans that are based on the needs and wellness goals of our clients.

We select only the highest quality, hair-thin, sterile, disposable needles. Our Acupuncture needles are so thin that generally they are hard to see and are barely felt. (Try to find the needle in the illustration to the left.)

handNeedle-less Acupuncture was first developed for children. It is also effective for most of the health conditions that respond well to needles. We have discovered that profound effects are produced by warming, massaging, and/or connecting treatment areas. The connections are made with instruments that have no power source other than the human body to which they are applied. Experience tells us that the crucial factor for activating the "Acupoints" without needles is precise analysis of the specific conditions at the time of each application.
